Aims
- As a peer review network, to discuss pertinent issues relevant to the treatment of eating disorders & mental health
- To provide training opportunities in best practice regionally and nationally
- To advocate for improvements in the quality of the treatment of patients with eating disorders
- To represent the role of psychiatrists in Eating Disorder practice
- To facilitate communication with College Faculties & medical specialties including GP’s, Cardiology, Endocrinology and Paediatrics
- To promote the research for evidence base
- To provide advice to relevant authorities on regulations and accreditation of Eating Disorders services in line with best international standards

This is a HSE collaboration of the National Clinical Programme in Eating Disorders, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine and Paediatrics.
