Private and Independent Practice Special Interest Group.
Purpose: A forum for retired consultant psychiatrists no longer in full time practice and those working in private practice.
- To meet, support one another, and work together in a Collegiate manner
- To maintain their links as psychiatrists with a professional body
- To be a useful resource to the College and available for special projects where their wealth of experience would benefit CPsychI business
- To share knowledge and advice on continuing education, including joining local hospital academic groups, accessing local peer review groups, to assist in the accrual of internal CPD credits and to fulfil audit requirements
- To bring to the Colleges attention issues that they deem relevant to psychiatry in Ireland
